The UZ4809 incremental encoder offers 28 pulse count options from 50 to 3600 p/r, including standard resolutions such as 100, 200, 250, 256, 300, 360, 400, 500, 512, 600, 720, 800, 900, 1000, 1024, 1200, 1800, 2000, 2048, 2400, 2500, 3000 and 3600 p/r. Custom CPR values are also available per customer requirements. The encoder delivers quadrature square wave output with 0.5T±0.1T duty cycle across all resolution grades, making it suitable for a wide range of servo motor feedback and motion control applications requiring UVW commutation support.
The UZ4809 solid shaft encoder supports 6 output methods: open-collector NPN, open-collector PNP, voltage output, complementary output, 26LS31 differential line driver (RS422 compatible), and 7272 wide voltage output. The 26LS31 differential output is recommended for long-distance transmission in industrial servo drive environments due to superior noise immunity. The encoder provides 6-channel signals (A, B, Z plus U, V, W) with complementary signals, delivering a total of 12 signal lines for comprehensive motor commutation and position feedback.
UZ4809 model selection requires 6 parameters: product model (UZ4809), pulse count (e.g. 1024 p/r), number of phases, output method (C/CP/T/F/L/K), power supply voltage (5V or 5-24V), cable outlet method (Metal Side/G Rubber Side/H Socket/F Rubber Rear), and cable length (0.17m to 2m standard). The 48mm encoder operates on DC 5V±0.25V with ≤160mA current consumption and features IP54 waterproof, oil-proof and dustproof protection, making it well suited for demanding factory automation environments.
The UZ4809 incremental encoder supports a maximum mechanical rotation speed of 6000 r/min with a response frequency up to 500 kHz. It operates reliably across -30°C to +85°C with storage capability from -40°C to +95°C. The encoder withstands vibration of 49m/s² at 10-200Hz and shock of 980m/s² for 6ms. With MTBF ≥50000 hours at +25°C and 2000rpm, the UZ4809 48mm rotary encoder delivers long-term durability for continuous industrial servo motor feedback operation.
Yes, the UZ4809 solid shaft encoder uses a standard 14-core cable with clearly color-coded wiring: Red (5V), Black (0V), Green (A), Green/Black (A/), White (B), White/Black (B/), Yellow (Z), Yellow/Black (Z/), Brown (U), Brown/Black (U/), Gray (V), Gray/Black (V/), Orange (W), Orange/Black (W/), and Shield (Shell).
